Advertising with Ciclirati.com is remarkably simple. No worrying about CPM numbers that burn through budgets, placements on less than traveled pages or getting buried 3.5 pages below where actual text or photos ended. For a small, simple fixed monthly fee, your ad is placed on every page in the same place, next to the stories and commentary that your cycling-mad audience is reading.

At the current average (monthly as of February 2010), Ciclirati drives an average of 1,500 impressions/day – 45,000 impressions/month. Ciclirati features new posts and stories daily, along with a new weekly podcast feature with interviews of racers, specialists and important people throughout the industry.

Advertising with Ciclirati is a limited opportunity. The maximum number of advertisers per month on the website will be 27, usually much less – depending on the sizes of advertisements. There are no rotating ads, your ad gets the same exposure on every page. When the available spots are taken, a waiting list will be available.

Ciclirati Podcast Audio Ads
-10 second ad – $7.50 per episode (maximum 9 – 3 beginning, 3 middle inserts, 3 end.)
-15 second ad – $9.00 per episode (maximum 6 – 2 beginning, 2 middle inserts, 2 end.)
-30 second ad – $15.00 per episode (maximum 3 – 1 beginning, 1 middle insert, 1 end.)

Please note – the maximums are based on maximum available if all of a certain size are the only size purchased. For example, if 1 – 300×600 ad is purchased, the maximum 300×100 ads left is 17. If 2 – 30 second podcast ads are bought, a maximum of 3 – 10 seconds ads remain.

Advertising prices shown are based on a 1 month purchase with no longer commitment. For those looking to advertise longer than one month, discounts are available.

- 1 year commitment – 25% discount

Prices are effective February 15, 2010 and are subject to change without notice or obligation.  Advertisers will be provided with a monthly statement displaying site traffic including total visitors, page views and impressions. Payments will all be done via Paypal, Mastercard or Visa.  Pricing assumes advertiser providing a web-ready advertisement (jpg, gif, or png) or script or audio file (mp3, wav) to be used in podcast.  Web ads can be created for a nominal fee. Ciclirati reserves the right to refuse any advertisement due if advertiser produces or promotes a product that conflicts with vision of Ciclirati toward contributing to a healthy, ecologically responsible lifestyle.
