Ciclirati is currently the work of one individual – me, Jeff Ernst. The views and editorial comments contained within are attributed solely to me. I have a borderline all-consuming passion for the sport of cycling – road, mountain, cyclocross – and the gear, having had a career in the field as a retailer and distributor as well as just a equipment tech geek in general.

Any product that I test will go through a ‘real world’ review – not simply a regurgitation of specs and MSRP. I believe strongly that the cycling public has an emotional connection to their bike(s) and want to truly know how a product performs.

Additionally, I am available for various freelance projects in marketing and journalism.

Of all the words I could use in describing my professional experience, the first word that come is “varied.”  After that follows “creative” and “results.” Over the last 20 years of professional experience, I have gathered and gained expertise in a vast number of industries, markets, countries and capacities. I  appreciate the opportunities to share my skills, creativity and methodology for those businesses and individuals looking to capture, launch, reinvent, refine or resurrect their business, event or publication.

Marketing. Complete marketing strategy from start to finish and all points in between. Product concept, branding, social media, complete ad design and production, interactive,  collateral material design and production, media management and effective press relations.

Writing and journalism. Writing for advertising, company blogs, newsletters, catalogs or general journalism.  Ghost writing (utilizing concept and tone, writing in your name) or freelance.

Photography. Travel, scenic, outdoor, sport, commercial and fine art.  Sorry, no personal portraits/wedding etc.

Fees. All services are billed at a standard rate of $60 per hour + related expenses/travel. Projects should be a minimum of 4 hours.
